Persephone was left at the Idi Hotel in Zaros "looking for a home" when the group stayed there in spring 2004. She spent a night in Susie Gentry's room and in the morning hopped onto the bus as if it was the most normal thing to do. Susie said she would take her home if she could. Carol, Susan, the rest of the group, and Nikos from the hotel helped to make that happen. Persephone got her shots and passport in Greece and now makes her home in Tucker, Georgia. She has grown to a whopping 80 pounds.
