October 3-17, 2026
Saturday Oct 3
Welcome! Arrival at Hotel Olympic, Heraklion. 6 pm: Introductory meeting on roof terrace, followed by short walk to group dinner (included).
Sunday Oct 4
Breakfast at Olympic Hotel, optional circle dance on roof terrace, guided tour of Archaeological Museum, lunch on your own, guided tour of Knossos site plus Goddess shop, return to Olympic Hotel, evening meeting on roof terrace.
Monday Oct 5
Depart Heraklion for Paliani Monastery and ancient myrtle tree, followed by village of Ano Asites: folk museum, local women, traditional lunch (included); onward travel to Hotel Idi in Zaros in the Psiloritis Mountains. Evening group meeting.
Tuesday Oct 6
Excursion from Hotel Idi to Kamilari Tholos Tomb, followed by Kalamaki beach, lunch on your own, guided tour of Phaistos site, return to Hotel Idi. Free evening.
Wednesday Oct 7
Free day with options including vegetarian cooking class, lunch, visit to Maria the weaver and private viewing of antique textiles, walk to Zaros lake, relaxation and swimming in the hotel pool, gorge hike with Susanne. Evening group meeting.
Thursday Oct 8
Depart Hotel Idi for Archanes Archaeological Museum, Mt. Juktas site, lunch on your own in Archanes with options to visit Aratousa weaving studio and Myrto's Goddess shop, followed by visit to Skoteino cave and onward travel to Hotel Santa Marina in Ayios Nikolaos. Free evening.
Friday Oct 9
Free half day, with options to visit Ayios Nikolaos Archaeological Museum or enjoy shopping and lunch on your own. Afternoon guided tour of Malia site. Evening group meeting.
Saturday Oct 10
Excursion to Krasi village with majestic plane tree, Panayia Kera Kardiotissa, Lasithi Plateau, Trapeza cave, Ayios Giorgios folk museum, late lunch (a la carte), return to Hotel Santa Marina. Free evening.
Sunday Oct 11
Depart Hotel Santa Marina for Panagia Kera Kritsa, early lunch (group menu, pay for yourself), guided tour of Gournia site, onward travel to Mochlos. Evening group meeting.
Monday Oct 12
Half day excursion to Siteia Archaeological Museum and Ethnographic Museum, return to Mochlos for lunch on your own. Evening group meeting.
Tuesday Oct 13
Free day with optional guided tour of Mochlos island site, weather permitting.
Labyrinth ritual followed by dinner (a la carte) with possible live music and dancing.
Wednesday Oct 14
Depart Mochlos for Ierapetra, Myrtos/Fornou Korifi site, late lunch (a la carte) and Sappho ritual at Kato Symi, Thrapsano pottery onward travel to return to Hotel Olympic in Heraklion. Free evening.
Thursday Oct 15
Free day with options including circle dance on roof terrace, guided tour of Goddess textiles in National Historical Museum, afternoon visit to Minoan Theatre in Karteros. Evening meeting for group completion and gift exchange.
Friday Oct 16
Heraklion Archaeological Museum in morning, free time for shopping and relaxtaion, final celebration meal (either lunch or dinner, TBC, included).
Saturday Oct 17
Departure from Hotel Olympic (check out at 11 am) or stay a little longer in Crete.
