The Path of the Pilgrimage

Day 1 Arrive Heraklion, Crete, introductions, opening dinner, overnight in Heraklion.
Day 2 Heraklion Archaeological Museum, Sacred Center of Knossos, overnight in
Heraklion.
Day 3 Paliani Convent with Sacred Myrtle Tree, village of Ano Asites, overnight in Zaros in the Psiloritis Mountains.
Day 4 Sacred Center at Phaistos, Tholos Tomb at Kamilari, lunch and swim in the sea at Kalamaki Beach, Museum of Cretan Ethnology in Vori, overnight in Zaros.
Day 5 Free day in Zaros to hike, rest by the lake, enjoy the pool, visit a weaving
shop, possible viewing of private collection of antique textiles, overnight in Zaros.
Optional vegetarian cooking class (extra charge).
Day 6 village of Archanes, Archaeological Museum of Archanes, Peak Shrine of
Mount Juktas, Skoteino Cave, overnight in Agios Nikolaos.
Day 7 Sacred Center of Malia, free afternoon in Agios Nikolaos.
Day 8 Trapeza Cave in Lasithi plain, Folk Museum of Agios Giorgios (if open), lunch in Krasi village with ancient plane tree, Monastery Panagia Kera Kardiotissa, overnight in Agios Nikolaos.
Day 9 Church of Panagia Kera Kritsa with 14th century frescoes, ancient town of
Gournia, overnight in Mochlos.
Day 10 Free day in the quiet fishing village of Mochlos, optional visit to
archaeological site of Mochlos Island (weather permitting), ritual of the Labyrinth, overnight in Mochlos.
Day 11 Siteia Archaelogical Museum, Kato Zakros Gorge with cave tombs, Sacred Center at Kato Zakros, lunch and afternoon swim at Kato Zakros, overnight in Mochlos.
Day 12 Ancient village of Myrtos, lunch in Kato Symi, Cretan potter at Thrapsano, overnight in Heraklion.
Day 13 Ethnographic collection of National Historical Museum (Goddess
embroideries), Knossos again, shopping, overnight in Heraklion.
Day 14 Heraklion Archaeological Museum again, shopping, final circle and closing
dinner, overnight in Heraklion.
Day 15 Catch your flight home or continue traveling.
